As winter has arrived and the temperatures have dropper, staying warm becomes a top priority. To help you combat the cold, I'll share a few of my favourite items that have become essential for keeping me cozy during the winter months.
1. Electric Heated Blanket
My go-to solution for staying warm at my desk is the Electric Heated Blanket. With four heating levels and fast heating, it provides instant warmth on those cold winter days. Perfect for a quick nap, reading on the sofa, or binge-watching TV, this blanket is both versatile and convenient. It's also machine washable and fits my full bed.
2. Heating Pad
While primarily designed for pain relief, the Heating Pad is during winter chills. Its warmth is localized, making it ideal for placing on my lap for added coziness. With three settings on the controller, it offers a range of heat intensities. See my previous blog post where I compare it to a hot water bottle for pain relief.
3. Oversized Wearable Blanket
A thoughtful gift I received from a friend a few years ago, THE COMFY Original has been a godsend. This oversized wearable blanket allows me to move freely around the house, providing warmth without the need for cranking up the heater. I can where this around the house with a pair of leggings and be very warm without the need to turn on the heater. This blanket is so impressive that I once wore this through a day-long blackout and was warm the entire time!
4. Space Heater
For personalized warmth in my home, I turn to the Lasko Ceramic Space Heater. The adjustable thermostat is easy to use and allows you to fine-tune the temperature to your liking. It also does a great job of dispersing the heat to the entire room.. Compact and designed with safety features, including a tip-over switch and overheat protection, this space heater is a reliable source of extra warmth. See my previous blog post where I provided a comprehensive review.
5. Rechargeable, Double-Sided Hand Warmer
A quick warm-up for my hands and a handy flashlight when needed, the rechargeable hand warmer is a winter must-have. bought them during one of the Prime Days. They kept my hands toasty warm while walking the city at night, hiking in freezing temperatures, and running errands. These would be great for anyone whose hands get cold easily. They hold a charge and stay warm for about 3 to 4 hours. The shape feels good in your hand and the colors and patterns are nice.
6. Thermal Undershirts
Saving the best for last, thermal undershirts are a game-changing winter wardrobe staple. As soon as Nov 1 hits, they become my second skin and I am always wearing these under my sweaters, blazers, and cardigans. With over 10 in my collection, they are a staple in my winter closet. They have moisture-wicking properties to keep your skin dry and comfortable throughout the day.
Embrace the winter months with these essentials that will keep you warm throughout the season. Happy Winter!
